At the heart of the Akani Simbine Foundation, our Circle of Care program continues to focus on the well-being and dignity of every young person we serve. Earlier this September, we were deeply grateful to receive incredible support from the Dis-Chem Foundation, whose generosity made a meaningful difference across two of our key welfare initiatives.
Through their contribution, our young female athletes received sanitary care packs, helping to ensure that menstrual health never stands in the way of participation, confidence, or opportunity and the male athletes received care packages as well.
The Dis-Chem Foundation also extended their kindness to our New Nest initiative, donating baby care packs to support mothers and their newborns,a gesture that embodies care, compassion, and community.
Partnerships like this remind us what true impact looks like when purpose meets generosity. We sincerely appreciate the Dis-Chem Foundation’s consistent support in helping us build healthier, more empowered communities. Together, we’re creating lasting change — one act of care at a time.
